Lilian M. C. Randall, born Lilian M. C. Cramer, received her B.A. From Mount Holyoke College in 1951 and her M.A. (1951) and Ph.D. (1955) from Radcliffe College. She was the Curator of Manuscript and Rare Books at the Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore, Maryland from 1974 to 1985 and the Research Curator from 1985 to 1997.
